RAPIDE NEO, a neo-classic full-face helmet equipped with the world’s first shield system “VAS” that evolves its ability to evade impacts.
This RAPIDE NEO is now available with the yellow/black and speed block graphic, the image color of Yamaha North American racing in the late ’70s.

Features
● VAS-V Lock
First adopted in the RX-7X, the VAS-V lock is a robust shield locking system with a lever that
prevents the shield from opening unexpectedly due to impact as much as possible.

● VAS-VC
VAS creates a virtual axis that jumps over a different coverage area than the fixed rotation axis by varying the rotation axis of the shield,
enabling a compact cover and shield base.
With VAS-VC, a classic method is adopted in which the screw heads are exposed on the surface so as not to spoil the atmosphere of the RAPIDE NEO.
In addition, VAS-VC can be assembled into a VAS-VC assembly form in which all the parts necessary for shield installation (shield, shield base, cover) are put together into one
.

●Airflow Liner & Exhaust Slits
To take advantage of the simple design, ventilation ducts are not placed on the surface of the Rapide NEO.
Hot air inside the helmet is guided by an air route provided in the liner and expelled through the exhaust slit at the bottom of the back of the head.

●Blow Ventilation
Outside air taken in through the blow shutter is guided into the inside of the helmet by an inner duct.

●Inner Shutter
When the inner shutter on the center pad is opened, outside air from the mouth slit is guided to the mouth, relieving stuffiness.
When the inner shutter is closed, outside air is guided towards the deflector, reducing fogging of the shield.

●FCS System Pad
The system pad incorporating the FCS structure provides a deep fit by wrapping around the chin using the spring effect of the back plate that supports the urethane pad.
In addition, the deformation action of this plate makes it easy to put on and take off the helmet.

●Fixed Aero Flap
It regulates the airflow under the helmet while riding and reduces wind turbulence.
