Interior design that combines the convenience and comfort of a jet helmet.
The interior surface fabric uses a hybrid of highly absorbent and quick-drying fabric and brushed fabric. The opening of the helmet, which is prone to friction with the skin when putting it on and taking it off, uses a soft-touch brushed fabric, while the forehead and other areas prone to sweating use a highly absorbent and quick-drying fabric. In addition, the bottom of the cheek pads, which are more prone to getting dirty and damaged by rain than other parts, uses a highly durable synthetic leather material on the surface.

The CJ-2 shield is optimized for jet helmets.
Equipped with the CJ-2 shield, which achieves a clear field of view with minimal distortion by varying the thickness and curvature in certain areas. Designed to be optimized for jet helmets, the ribs at the lower edge minimize wind intrusion from below the shield. In addition, the ribs increase the rigidity of the shield and reduce deflection when opening and closing, resulting in smooth operation. Like the previous model, it is equipped with a slightly open shield position. By setting the shield to the slightly open position when riding at low speeds, the inside of the helmet is ventilated, which helps to remove fogging from the shield.

Inner sun visor boasting high optical performance
Equipped with an inner sun visor that can be lowered to reduce glare during daytime riding in bright sunlight, and instantly retracted with a lever operation to switch to a clear shield when entering tunnels, it can adapt to various changes in visibility. The QSV-2 sun visor boasts high optical performance comparable to the European sunglass standard EN1836, achieving a distortion-free field of view. Furthermore, a strong wire is used in the sun visor operating mechanism, allowing for smooth operation of the sun visor. In addition, a stopper function is equipped with a click when the sun visor is fully raised, preventing it from unexpectedly coming down due to vibrations or other factors.

We pursued ventilation performance that allows riders to stay comfortable and concentrate on riding.
The J-Cruise 3 achieves high ventilation performance by enhancing and optimizing the performance of both the air intake, which takes in airflow while riding, and the air outlet, which expels hot air from inside the helmet, through extensive testing in our own large-scale wind tunnel facility.

A new micro-ratchet chin strap that is compact and offers an improved fit.
Featuring a micro-ratchet chin strap that allows for fastening and unfastening even while wearing thick gloves, this product retains the durable stainless steel construction and secure two-prong locking mechanism while being more compact and lightweight. The strap itself is woven with high-strength, high-elasticity high-performance fibers, ensuring strength while remaining slim and improving the fit when fastened.

A specially designed communication system that enhances integration with the helmet design.
The specially designed mounting mechanism equipped on communication system-compatible models has been conceptualized as “SHOEI COMLINK,” and the J-Cruise 3 is also a SHOEI COMLINK-compatible model. The mounting part is more compact, enhancing the sense of integration with the helmet design when the communication system is attached.
