Lightweight and compact
design that accentuates the open-face helmet’s sense of freedom – a beautiful form that balances aerodynamics and design
For riders who are speeding through the air and directly facing it, a great deal of stress is placed on them as a wall of air. Based on data obtained from numerous wind tunnel tests, the aero form is designed with a shell characterized by sharp edges and outlet parts that draw cutting lines, forming a spoiler shape. This creates an aggressive and sporty form while achieving high aerodynamic performance. The resulting high-speed stability greatly reduces rider fatigue.
・Ventilation System
In the J-FORCE IV, ventilation holes are placed in optimal positions to make air intake more efficient. The ventilation at the front of the head is divided into a front air intake that directs airflow to the inner pad of the forehead that has absorbed sweat, and uses evaporative cooling to cool the head together with the pad, and an upper air intake that sends airflow to the back of the head. The airflow introduced through the two intakes is exhausted through the top and side air outlets, providing a highly efficient ventilation system that allows you to feel the wind more and more as you ride, from low speeds to high speeds.
• Shield System The J-FORCE IV also adopts
the CJ-2 shield, which successfully creates an even more natural and clear field of vision by partially changing the curvature and thickness of the front and back sides of the shield to enhance its optical properties. Compared to the conventional CJ-1 type, the lower edge of the shield has been extended, and the unique edge design of the bottom part reduces wind turbulence from below, while also significantly improving quietness. The effect of reducing fatigue is tremendous, even during long-distance high-speed cruising.
